Clinical Supervision for Licensure Candidates

3rd Wednesday of the month, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

For counselors seeking licensure, Elizabeth offers individual supervision as well as a monthly three-hour clinical supervision group where practitioners have an opportunity to present cases and expand their skills and understanding. Group sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual participants and include attention to a variety of theories and special topics such as integrating creativity into individual and group work, managing suicidal risk, identifying and intervening with traumatic re-enactments, working effectively with children and families, and mindfulness strategies to decrease anxiety.

Elizabeth Venart is a Licensed Professional Counselor and therefore eligible to provide 100% of the required supervision hours to LPC Candidates as well as fifty percent of the required supervision hours to Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Social Work candidates.

EMDR Consultation Group

3rd Friday of each month, 9:30 am – 11:30 am

If you have already completed the EMDR Basic Training and are interested in pursuing EMDR Certification and/or in deepening your knowledge and understanding of EMDR in practice, this group is for you! We’ll review cases, discuss challenging issues in EMDR, and review latest research findings and clinical applications. Participation requires a minimum six-month commitment. Counselor Wellness Intensives

These three-hour education and support sessions are designed to offer helping professionals time to focus on themselves, tools to promote wellness & resiliency, and valuable opportunities to dialogue with one another for increased support. Programs include integrative wellness approaches drawing from a variety of practices and professional disciplines. These include mindfulness and meditation, expressive arts, music therapy, integrative medicine, yoga, Qi Gong, aromatherapy, dance/movement therapy, laughter yoga, and recreational therapy.

Creating a Thriving Private Practice Program Series

The Creating a Thriving Private Practice Program Series is offered on a rotating schedule, with at least one workshop per month.

> Costs: $50 for each 90-minute program; $100 for each 3-hour program. Pre-payment for the entire six-part series offered at a dramatic 50% discount to encourage participants to take the series sequentially to gain the maximum benefit and to gain ongoing support from the community of practitioners attending.

In this interactive 90-minute program, you’ll learn the importance of strong referral relationships in building your practice, how to identify other professionals uniquely positioned to connect you with your ideal client, and successful strategies to cultivate mutually beneficial referral relationships.

Redefining Marketing!

Professionals in the healthcare and healing arts fields are often uncomfortable with the idea of marketing their businesses. They may associate marketing with sales and feel it is out of alignment with their reasons for entering the field (to help and educate people!). In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll redefine marketing and explore the many different ways professionals can begin to spread the word about the amazing services and programs they are providing.

Individual Practice-Building Consultations

Please note that Elizabeth Venart also provides individual practice-building consultations to educate and support practitioners with any of the workshop topics and with creating a plan for growing their business that will really work!
