Group Counseling Services

In her groups, Elizabeth provides opportunities for individuals to connect with others, tap into their strengths, participate in activities and discussions designed to promote greater self-awareness, and receive support in creating positive changes in their lives.

She offers an ongoing Women’s Personal Growth Group that provides support, inspiration, and community on the journey to creating a heart-centered life. The group is limited to eight participants and is perfect for women artists, healers, and entrepreneurs who may feel isolated in their work and are seeking authentic connection. It is also an ideal place for any woman going through a life or career transition and seeking support in finding greater happiness and inner peace.

She provides a six-month Personal Empowerment Group that runs each year from Fall into Spring. In this experiential and peer support group, participants learn tools for greater self-awareness and support one another in making career and life changes for greater joy, vibrancy, and balance.

Additionally, Elizabeth Venart co-facilitates a support group for Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse with Jeff Katowitz, LMFT. The immediate and long-term impact of incest, childhood sexual abuse, and rape can include feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-worth, self-doubt, identity confusion, and a sense of shame. Through sharing their experiences in a safe and supportive environment, men have the opportunity to connect with other survivors, understand that the abuse was not their fault, and begin to see themselves as resilient and whole. Elizabeth has been working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse for nearly twenty years and has facilitated over fifty groups for trauma survivors in that time.
